Call for Presentations for Irish Street Medicine Symposium 2016

Eligibility & Rules

We are delighted to receive submissions from any person or organisation working with homeless people to improve their health including access to services. We are especially interested in areas of innovation or integration of existing services.


Call for Submissions

We are looking for submissions as


1) 10 minute oral presentations 

2) 3 minute quick fire presentations                                   

3) Working group discussions (facilitators available) or

4) Posters

  • Title of the presentation,

  • A 200 word summary 

  • Presentation format.

Submitting a presentation does not register you for the Street Medicine Symposium. You must register for this separately.



Authors will be notified if their presentation has been selected for oral or poster presentation as soon as the review is complete (review will commence on closing date). Further details regarding placement as an oral or poster presentation, as well as times of presentation will follow as soon as possible. If you do not receive any notification of your presentations’s status, please contact us


Poster Sessions

The dimensions of posters should not exceed 120cm in height and 95cm in width.They will be displayed in the foyer of the meeting.

CPD Recognition : 6 external credits

GMS study leave allocation: 1 day
